Tollesbury Sailing Club is a Blackwater-side club on Woodrolfe Road, with dinghy, cruiser and cadet sailing from Tollesbury Fleet.

Dinghy sailing, Dinghy racing, Cruiser sailing, Cadet sailing, Safety boat activity, Social sailing

Beginner
The dinghy page says Tollesbury Fleet offers sheltered waters, making it ideal for beginners, while also noting the tidal nature can challenge more experienced sailors. The club also says a personal handicap scheme encourages less experienced sailors and that owning a boat is not a prerequisite for membership because they welcome people who want to crew in a double-handed dinghy.
Training
Adult training schemes are described as regularly run from the club using RYA qualified instructors, and the club says it owns training boats for this purpose. The policies page also links cadet and powerboat course operating procedures, indicating formal training documentation is available.
Taster· Unclear
I did not find a current official visible page advertising taster sessions, try-sailing sessions, open days, or a specific beginner trial offer.

Suitability

Juniors, families, and accessibility

Juniors
The club has a cadet programme, with cadets sailing most Saturdays through the season. The dinghy page also mentions Toppers and Optimists among junior sailors, and the sailing area page says Tollesbury Fleet is an excellent training ground for young cadets. Family membership categories are listed in the current subscriptions.
Access· Unclear
The visible policies page links an Equality Policy, but I did not find current visible HTML that states specific physical accessibility arrangements, accessible facilities, adapted sailing provision, or access-needs contact guidance.
