Beginner
The official homepage says novices, experienced sailors, children and adults are welcome, and members can learn to sail on the training lake and gain RYA certification.

Blackwater Sailing Club runs a recognised RYA training centre with Youth Sailing Scheme, National Sailing Scheme, Powerboat Level 2 and First Aid courses. RYA courses are only open to club members and some are by invitation only.

Boat-charge examples include cruisers at GBP 30 per foot with mooring/berth, dinghies over 11ft 6in at GBP 128, medium dinghies at GBP 96, and Optimist/RS Tera at GBP 42.50.
