The Sail & Power Boat Training page lists RYA Youth Learn to Sail Stage 1 for ages 8 and over as the starting point for young people wanting to learn to sail, and adult NSS Level 1 & 2 for adults who want to learn with other beginners. The training overview also says the club welcomes those who would like to learn and improve sailing and powerboat skills.

Brading Haven says it is an accredited RYA Training Centre offering youth stages 1-4, adult National Sailing Scheme Levels 1-3, advanced modules, powerboat courses, safety boat training, private lessons and RYA online courses. The Sail & Power Boat Training page says BHYC training is strictly limited to members.

The Try Sailing page says the club runs regular informal member sessions led by qualified instructors, usually 90 minutes to 2 hours, to give members a taste of sailing before a formal course or for occasional sailing. The Sailability page also offers Friday April-October taster sessions for people aged 10 or older.

The training pages list youth sailing stages for ages 8 and over, cadet coaching, OnBoard children's sailing, and an activity fun week with sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding. The Sailability page says many children and adults attend with family, carers or friends.

The Club Dinghy Hire page says members can hire boats, kayaks and SUPs during club activities when safety boat cover is on the water. It lists per-session hire charges including RS Tera GBP 5, Pico GBP 10, RS Feva GBP 15, Laser GBP 15, SUP GBP 10, RS Quest GBP 20, Scow GBP 10 and Swan GBP 25. Booking is for authorised club members through the online booking system.
