Beginner
The club says guests are welcome, including people interested in taking up sailing for the first time. Its FAQ says beginners can learn by joining an RYA dinghy course, joining and crewing on Sundays, or attending the annual open day. The RYA Level 1 course is described as introductory and designed for complete novices.

The club states it is a registered/recognised RYA training centre. It lists RYA dinghy Levels 1 and 2, Level 3, Seamanship, Powerboat 2 and Safety Boat training, with 2026 dates still being planned and Powerboat 2 courses available on demand by contacting the club.
Taster
The current open day page advertises short sailing sessions in club boats for members of the public on 8 June, recommends booking in advance, and says buoyancy aids are provided. The FAQ also says the club hosts an annual open day where members of the public can be taken out on the water by experienced helms.

The visitor page says cadets are catered for with races and coaching for all levels, and membership includes family and cadet categories. The junior club page describes junior training sessions and says candidates work toward relevant RYA sailing qualifications, although its listed 2023 dates and costs are TBC. The FAQ says the junior section accepts children as young as six and families are welcome to sail together from any age.

The FAQ states that the club has disabled toilets, but I did not find current visible information about wider accessibility, step-free access, adaptive sailing, or access support.

The visitor page lists annual membership costs: full family GBP 105, family 1 adult GBP 90, adult GBP 75, junior adult under 25 GBP 50, senior adult over 60 GBP 55, cadet under 18 GBP 30, student under 25 GBP 30, social GBP 35, and associate GBP 20. It also says public slipway launching is GBP 5 per launch during sailing times or by prior arrangement. The FAQ has an older/inconsistent family membership figure of GBP 97, so the visitor page appears to be the more detailed current pricing source.

Official site describes club membership and River Welland sailing; Witham Sailing Club merger/alias evidence is handled as an exclusion.
