The club states that it runs regular RYA training courses for juniors and adults. Its training pages list Powerboat Level 1, Powerboat Level 2 and shore-based courses, and the sailing/fleet pages mention adult tuition and a training contact.

Paddlesports visitor taster sessions are advertised at £35 per person with a minimum of 3 people, or £120 for a family of four. The page describes a 2-hour guided kayak trip from the DYC pontoon and gives a taster-session enquiry email.
