Beginner
Beginners can start through adult or junior RYA sailing courses or try sailing at a club open day. The minimum age for both routes is 8.
Training

The 2026 programme says first-year membership is included if both dinghy courses are taken. 2026-2027 annual membership fees include Family GBP 370, Single Adult GBP 300, Young Adult GBP 155, Student GBP 85, Junior Family GBP 160, Junior GBP 85 and Social GBP 75. Boat hire is available to members only and is not public walk-in or hourly hire; no hire prices were found.
Official site describes an active racing club and RYA accredited training centre on 92 acres of open reservoir, welcoming experienced racers, social sailors, juniors and adults learning to sail. The Shustoke Offshore Group adds cruising and racing activity.
