Beginner
Midland Sailing Club describes mixed-fleet sailing and racing as suitable for novices as well as experienced sailors. Sail Birmingham's adult RYA Level 1 course is aimed at people with zero sailing knowledge and no previous experience, and the club says it can arrange a taster session with an experienced sailor for people who have not sailed before.
Training
The club says it is an RYA Recognised Training Centre. Sail Birmingham lists adult RYA Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 dinghy sailing courses at Midland Sailing Club, with Level 1 as the starting course for people with no previous experience.
Taster
The Midland Sailing Club about page says the club can arrange a taster session with an experienced sailor for people who have not sailed before. A previously checked Sail Birmingham taster URL now returns a not-found page, so no taster-session price or online taster booking route is claimed.

Sail Birmingham runs a Sailability programme at Midland Sailing Club for people of all ages and abilities, including people with additional needs and long-term conditions. The Sailability pages describe adaptive boats, trained instructors and volunteers, wheelchair-accessible pontoon and hoist support, accessible changing rooms, lift access and wide walkways.

Boat hire
The club states that members can hire club boats, including Optimists, Toppers, RS Fevas, a GP14, Enterprise, Lasers and Laser 2000s. This appears to be member club-boat use rather than public boat hire, and no hire price was found on the checked official pages.
