No current future-dated general taster session, trial sail, or open day was found on official public pages checked on 2026-06-13. The official open-day event and news article advertised taster sessions in sailing and other activities for Saturday 6 June 2026, but that date has already passed, so it was not treated as current availability. Junior and family suitability is clearly supported. The official Juniors page says the club introduces younger sailors through RYA Youth Training Scheme courses, parent-led practice sessions, class coaching, Shooting Stars racing, Harbour Explorers days, and Junior Race Week for ages 7 to 18. The training page also says junior training usually runs from April/May to July, with an annual Junior Week for ages 6 to 21 and an active family membership base.

The official Join us page publishes 2026 annual membership fees: Ordinary single adult over 30 GBP 180, Ordinary 19-25 GBP 90, Ordinary under 30 GBP 180, Family 1 GBP 180 plus GBP 16 per child aged 7-18, and Family 2 GBP 269 plus GBP 16 per child aged 7-18. Juniors under 7 are free within family membership, juniors cannot join on their own, and initial joining fees are added and spread over three payments: GBP 270 as three GBP 90 instalments for Ordinary/Family 1 and GBP 406 as three GBP 135.90 instalments for Family 2. The page says boat storage and mooring charges are discussed at the Meet Us session.

Boat hire

The training page says club boats can be hired by members for a modest fee when not used for training, and the Juniors page says club-owned boats can be hired for a small fee to support junior progression.
