Training
Training is clearly available. The club points users to Lyme Regis Sea School, a charity set up to teach young people and adults to sail, with week-long intensive courses, structured evening sailing sessions, and day-long taster/refresher sailing. LRSS says it is an RYA Training Centre for dinghy sailing and powerboating in Lyme Regis, with adult Level 1 and 2, youth stages, advanced modules, and 2026 course dates.
Taster
Low-commitment options are currently advertised through Lyme Regis Sea School. The adult taster/private page describes day-long adult taster days and private lessons, offered on some Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday sessions during intensive course weeks, with booking availability on WebCollect. The 2026 course-dates page also lists May Open Days on 28 and 29 May, 10am to 5pm.

The official membership page lists 2026 club fees: Adult GBP 148, Adult Young Sailor GBP 74, Family/Partnership GBP 222, Youth GBP 72, and Social GBP 86. Joining admin fees are GBP 20 for adult subscriptions and GBP 10 for Youth. Temporary Holiday membership up to 14 days is Adult GBP 60 or Family/Partnership GBP 89. Temporary Weekend membership is Adult GBP 12 per weekend, Family/Partnership GBP 20 per weekend, and Under-25s GBP 6 per weekend.

Boat hire
No public boat hire offer was found. Lyme Regis Sea School's current FAQ explicitly says it does not hire boats and that access to equipment and the local water is through organised training sessions. The club youth page says youth sessions use LRSS dinghies under an agreement plus club and member-owned boats, so this should be treated as supervised training boat use rather than hire.
