Training
Training is available. The club says people can learn or improve with RYA qualified instructors and refers adult beginners to Llandegfedd Watersports. Welsh Water lists RYA Dinghy Sailing Level 1 and Level 2 adult courses, youth sailing levels, Level 3, Sailability, junior sailing and private tuition. The RYA listing identifies Llandegfedd Watersports as a Training Centre with dinghy, keelboat, powerboat and windsurfing courses.
Llandegfedd Sailing Club is an RYA-affiliated inland reservoir club at Llandegfedd Lake, with dinghy sailing, racing, adult and junior training, coaching, club boats and accessible sailing activity through the wider Welsh Water venue.
Taster options are currently advertised by the lake operator. Welsh Water says its 90-minute taster sessions include sailing, paddleboarding, canoeing and kayaking, and its sailing page lists an Introduction to Sailing session with an instructor on board. The club adult sailing page also points beginners toward club taster sessions and directs adult beginners to Llandegfedd Watersports.
Juniors and families are supported. The club says it welcomes individuals and families, and its youth page describes youth training, race development and a junior pathway. Welsh Water lists youth sailing courses and says junior sailing courses are RYA recognised.

Welsh Water says sailing at Llandegfedd is fully accessible, and its directions and facilities page describes a fully accessible Visitor Centre, accessible lift, accessible toilets and baby changing facilities. The RYA listing identifies Llandegfedd Watersports as a Sailability Centre offering sailing for people with disabilities.

Current official club membership and berth prices are published. Club membership fees shown are Junior/Youth £50, Student £50, Senior £110, Single Adult £110 and Family £150. Berth permit costs shown are Standard Berth Permit £135, Second Berth £110 and Junior Berth £110; the berth cost includes the reservoir sailing permit and parking permit. Course, taster and hire prices were not visible on the static official pages checked.
Official club and Welsh Water pages describe membership for racing, training, coaching, social activity and use of club boats; junior sailing starts from age 8. Welsh Water also lists bookable sailing introductions, RYA junior courses and Sailability sessions at the reservoir.
