Thornbury Sailing Club describes itself as an RYA Training Centre. It lists a combined RYA Level 1 and 2 course each spring, provisional 2026 course dates, a TSC familiarisation session, RYA Level 3 Better Sailing options, and an ongoing Better Sailing development programme for members.
Thornbury Sailing Club is a tidal Severn Estuary club at Oldbury Pill with dinghy and cruiser sailing, racing, RYA training, junior activity and member-run facilities.
I did not find a current visible official page clearly advertising taster sessions, open days, or a try-sailing session for non-members. The current joining page suggests prospective members visit before applying or come at a suitable calendar time.
