Juniors
The club has a strong junior and family route. It lists family and youth family membership categories, says young sailors normally learn from age 8 through the RYA Training Centre, and says disabled young sailors can start in adapted Hansas through the Sailability Youth Group from age 10. The youth page describes pathways from first RYA courses into development groups and race coaching, with around 100 junior and youth sailors participating in Saturday coaching groups.
Access
Accessibility support is a clear part of the club offer through Frensham Pond Sailability. The club says Sailability provides first-class facilities for people with disabilities or long-term illness who require support to sail, and the club history says accessible facilities were added for Sailability. The youth page also says disabled young sailors can sail in adapted Hansas from age 10.
