Beginner
The official site says complete novices and people returning to sailing can be helped to get confidence on the water. The linked Membermojo page says the club is open and inclusive regardless of previous sailing experience, and that visitors can drop by when open for a tour and chat.
Training
The official site says Delph runs RYA training on many Saturdays during the season, with most courses included in membership fees. Membermojo says full and junior membership includes RYA level 1-3 training, subject to availability, and notes Powerboat courses for new members at a subsidised cost.
Taster
The official site invites people to visit when the club is sailing, speak to members, or email for help getting a taste of sailing at Delph. Membermojo says visitors may be able to get themselves and their family out on the water if the club is able to. A 3 May 2026 open day was found but is now past, so it is not treated as current availability.
