The club has public beginner guidance and says members are willing to offer help and advice to get people on the water. Its Learning the Ropes page says adult one-to-one training can be given informally for dinghies and catamarans, and that Saturday Cruising days are aimed at casual sailing and training with rescue cover. The WebCollect membership page also says novices can be eligible for full membership if they intend to become active sailing members.

Training

The current official site describes informal adult one-to-one training for dinghies and catamarans, casual/training cruising days with rescue cover, and a public Training page for upcoming training events via WebCollect. A separate Club Training page contains older coaching videos, so it supports training history but not a current course schedule by itself.
