The club says the River Tamar is a place to begin a sailing adventure, that no previous sailing experience is necessary for dinghy sailing, and that new participants can attend up to 3 Friday evening dinghy training trial sessions before joining.
Training
Friday evening sail training runs from the first week of April through the summer until the end of September, starting at 17:45, with spaces limited and capacity to be checked with the Dinghy Officer. The club says it has RYA-qualified Senior Instructors, Dinghy Instructors, and club-trained Assistant Instructors.

Boat hire
