Beginner
The club says members range from day 1 novices to experienced competitors and that it welcomes experienced and novice sailors. Its cadet section specifically accepts ages 11 to 18 with no experience required.
Training
Cadets are offered qualified instruction from complete beginner through advanced techniques. The club says it is RYA affiliated and a Recognised Training Centre, with instruction based on RYA schemes and certificates. The current 2026 sailing programme also lists Topper Training, but that dated event was in May 2026 and should not be treated as current availability after 2026-06-14.
Taster· Unclear
No current official page checked clearly advertises taster sessions, open days, or a current try-sailing route. The site does invite interested cadets to phone, email, or visit when cadets are operating, but that is not stated as a taster session.
