Beginner and first-time participants appear welcome. SHST says new participants can come along to a session, speak to volunteers, and may still be able to take part that day. Training
Training is available via Staunton Harold Sailing Club using specially adapted boats. SHST says courses follow RYA guidelines and recommendations, instructors and safety boat drivers are RYA qualified, and the sailing school offers courses for adults and juniors, members and non-members. SHST lists bookable Sailability sessions and says new participants can come along before committing, talk to volunteers about what is offered, and may still be able to take part in that session. Achievement evening and December closure entries are listed at GBP 0.00. No broader membership, course, boat-hire, or annual pricing was found on the SHST pages checked.
SHST clearly provides access to Trust boats during Sailability activity and mentions Sailability Membership giving access to year-round sailing and use of Trust boats, but the pages checked did not provide a standalone boat-hire offer, hire rules, or hire pricing.
