Beginner
The club says it gives people of all ages with a wide range of disabilities the chance to experience sailing with an experienced helmsman and crew, offers a great introduction to sailing, and has a first try sailing session route through temporary membership.
Training· Unclear
The site says sailing is under the direction/watchful eye of an RYA Senior Instructor, but I found no current official claim that Rye Harbour Sailability offers RYA courses or structured training courses.
Taster
The membership page says the first try sailing session is free under temporary membership, with one further sail available for GBP 10 before full membership is needed.

Suitability

Juniors, families, and accessibility

Juniors
The club describes itself as open to all regardless of age or disability and lists Family Sailor membership for families with at least one disabled member at the same address. Volunteer membership is also open to an adult or young person willing to volunteer at least three times a year.
Access
Rye Harbour Sailability is specifically for sailors with disabilities and uses adapted boats. The site also notes important access limits: no hoist facilities, launch from a slipway requiring standing in at least six inches of water and getting both legs over the boat side, or use of an adjacent quay gate requiring a step down into the boat.

Costs

Adult Sailor membership is GBP 45 per year plus GBP 15 per sail. Family Sailor is GBP 65 per year plus GBP 15 per sailor per sail. Volunteer is GBP 5 per year, carers are free, Support Adult is GBP 85 per year, Corporate is GBP 150 per year, and the first try sailing session is free with a second temporary sail at GBP 10.

Membership

Official site describes a registered charity launched in 2017, with membership/booking information and adapted sailing at Rye Harbour under an RYA Senior Instructor.

Boat hire
The club provides adapted boats for sailing sessions, including a Drascombe Lugger and an RS Venture Connect, each certified to carry six people including experienced helm and crew. I found no separate self-hire or independent boat-hire offer.
