Current OSCR data says the club is open to anyone to join, including children and adults. The club's own Blogger site is now described as an old shop window and may contain out-of-date details, but its membership page says the club welcomes new members, that people do not need to own a boat or have much experience, and that newcomers can get a taste of sailing by crewing a Flying Fifteen.

The club's Blogger membership page says the club is not an RYA accredited training centre, but has organised training with visiting instructors, informal instruction for Picos and a seasonal Pico Week for juniors. Because the blog says some material may be out of date, I did not find enough current evidence to mark formal training or current RYA courses as available.
