The club says members can enjoy sailing in good company whether they own a boat or not, and that people do not have to be experienced sailors because there are opportunities to gain experience with other members. I did not find a one-off public sailing taster session. The current official route to try the club is a 3 month trial membership for £120, and the training page says completing some short courses includes one month of club membership.
The RYA Essential Navigation and Seamanship course is described as suitable for people with children or grandchildren eager to enter sailing, and the club publishes student, under-40, and joint household membership options. I did not find a dedicated current junior sailing programme on the official pages checked.

I did not find current official boat-hire information on the checked club pages. The club does say members can sail without owning a boat through organised events, crewing opportunities, and experiences with other members, but that is not the same as boat hire.
