Errwood Sailing Club

Errwood Sailing Club is suitable for beginners who join or are members of another RYA-affiliated club: it lists RYA Level 1 Start Sailing, RYA Level 2 Basic Skills, youth RYA Stage 1-4, beginner-friendly club boats, and says new sailors are encouraged to seek guidance when rigging two-person boats. Training and use of the water are stated to be for members only.

The club says it is an RYA Training Centre and an affiliated member of the RYA. It offers sailing, windsurfing, powerboat and first-aid courses, including youth beginner sailing Stages 1-4, adult RYA Level 1 Start Sailing, RYA Level 2 Basic Skills, seamanship, spinnakers, start racing, performance sailing, powerboat and safety boat courses. The site says courses are only available to club members and members of RYA-affiliated clubs.
