Beginner
EAST is aimed at disabled and disadvantaged adults and children, with regular summer sailing sessions and bespoke group sailing sessions. The VI cruising page explicitly says absolute beginners are welcome, and the youth page invites young people with a range of needs to come and try sailing as a new experience.
Training
EAST says it is an RYA centre and lists RYA Sailability, RYA Youth Sailing Scheme stages 1-4, RYA Start Sailing keelboat level 1, RYA Basic Sailing keelboat level 2 and other RYA/EAST courses. The training page also says training is strictly reserved for EAST members, with priority for regular volunteers.
Taster
The youth page invites young people to come and try sailing as a new experience. The VI cruising page says taster days and taster weekends are undertaken before taking part in a longer cruise. No current dated public open day was found.

Juniors
EAST provides regular sailing sessions for disabled and disadvantaged adults and children. Young EAST sailing sessions for those aged about 9 years and upwards run regularly on fortnightly Saturdays, with parents or carers welcome to accompany young people with higher needs.
Access
EAST is specifically for disabled and disadvantaged sailors. Its youth page says the accessible centre has a ceiling track hoist and changing bed, and that pontoon hoists help sailors with mobility issues board safe Sonar keelboats.
