Beginner
Oban Sailing Club explicitly welcomes people with no previous sailing experience. The recommended route for new sailors is to join a training course, and the adult beginner dinghy course starts from the absolute basics.
Training
The club is an RYA-approved dinghy and powerboat training centre. It lists RYA dinghy, powerboat, shorebased and keelboat coaching options, with beginner dinghy courses for adults and juniors.
