Dinghy sailing, Club sailing, Boat storage, Canoe storage, Sailboard storage, Youth and family membership

Beginner
The club describes itself as a small, family-oriented dinghy sailing club and says it runs a tuition programme to get novices sailing safely. It also says first-year family membership includes free use of club boats and free tuition for new members.
Training
The club says it is not an RYA training establishment, but it runs tuition for novices and has links with Monikie RYA training centre for certificates. The membership form says instructors/tutors may need PVG checks, which supports that tuition is club-run rather than a public RYA course listing.
Taster· Unclear
The club welcome page says anyone is welcome to come to Open Days shown in the programme, and an official 2026 Discover Sailing event page describes taster sessions for newcomers. However, the Discover Sailing dates I found were in May 2026 and had already passed by this check on 2026-06-13; I found no future taster/open-day availability in the current official event list after that date.

Juniors, families, and accessibility

Juniors
The club describes itself as family oriented, lists family, student/youth and junior memberships, and says Angus Council grant support helped buy Laser Picos as youth training boats. The membership form includes child-safeguarding consent and vulnerable-groups questions.
Access· Unclear
I found safeguarding references for children and vulnerable adults, but no current official visitor accessibility details such as step-free access, accessible toilets/changing, adapted sailing, or other specific access-needs provision.

Club boats are available for hire by members, with listed rental costs of GBP 10 for double-handers and GBP 8 for single-handers. I found no evidence of public, non-member boat hire.
