The club says new members receive a warm welcome whatever their skills or experience. Its dinghy racing page also says Lagoon Racing targets newcomers to racing and that beginners are given advice and leeway.
Training
The club publishes race-duty and support-boat training/practice opportunities, including sessions led by an RYA qualified instructor or experienced members. It also lists certified courses for RYA Powerboat Level 2, First Aid, and VHF Marine Radio Short Range Certificate. I did not find a current public learn-to-sail course listing.
