The official pages do not publish a detailed complete-beginner course pathway, so new sailors should contact the club to confirm the easiest starting route.

The current homepage says HSC offers training for adults and juniors. A separate RYA Dinghy Instructor page currently embeds a February 2024 Llyn Brenig Sailing Club document, so that page was not treated as current Holyhead course availability.

I did not find current official evidence for public sailing taster sessions, open days, try-sailing dates, or trial sails. The site directs enquiries through the office/contact form.
The club supports juniors and families: the homepage says training is available for adults and juniors, the 2026 application form has family membership and asks family applicants to list children aged 10-18, and the 2026 fees list Family/Joint, Cadet, and Student membership categories. The official 2026 membership fees document lists Single Full Member GBP 151.11, Family/Joint GBP 242.19, Senior GBP 91.08, Joint Senior GBP 173.88, Cadet GBP 22.77, Student GBP 38.30, Associate/Diving/Rowing GBP 62.10, and Overseas GBP 32.02. The 2026 application form repeats Full GBP 151.11, Family GBP 242.19, and Student GBP 38.30 and says first-year pro-rata payments apply. A separate official mooring document lists 2025 mooring fees by boat length.
The official homepage says members may crew for racing and cruising, full members can use the slipway and launch vehicle for trailered boats, and the 2023 Young Optimists report refers to club Optimists, Toppers and Fevas for junior training. I did not find current official evidence that adult members or visitors can hire or borrow club sailing boats.
