Holy Loch Sailing Club says new members are very welcome, runs RYA-recognised junior training, and invites adults to come and have a go at sailing. Its cadet page says young people aged 10 to 16 can start learning with no boat needed, and that adults can try a sail, learn from other members and crew onboard.

The club states that it runs RYA-recognised training for juniors. Cadet training is described as Thursday-evening training for ages 10 to 16, starting with instructor-led Wayfarer sessions before moving to Toppers and Laser 3000s; the official page says 2025 cadet training is almost full and points prospective families to the waiting list.
