The club offers Discover Sailing for people who want to try sailing, RYA dinghy courses from Level 1 for complete beginners, and social sailing intended to help new and experienced sailors sail together.

The club offers RYA dinghy courses from Level 1 for complete beginners through to Start Racing, with courses suitable for adults and junior sailors aged 8 and upwards. The courses page says sailing courses generally run between April and September and powerboat courses run through the year.

The Discover Sailing page lists Discover Sailing Day on 30 May 2026, where the club opens to the public to try sailing with an experienced sailor. The Dinghy Hire page lists member training-boat hire at GBP 10 per session for a Pico, Topper or Topaz and GBP 15 per session for a Topper Sport 14, Laser 2000 or GP14.
