Training
Banbury says it is an RYA accredited training centre running RYA Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 sailing courses, powerboat courses, safety boat training and supervised informal practice sessions in summer.
Banbury Sailing Club is a family-friendly dinghy sailing club on Boddington Reservoir, with racing, cruising, RYA training, youth activity and Sailability.

The membership page lists current annual subscriptions including single adult sailing GBP 250, under-25 adult sailing GBP 160, single youth sailing GBP 130, family sailing GBP 290, family sailing over-75 GBP 140, paddle craft/windsurfer and crew-only GBP 140, and three-month trial membership GBP 150 including RYA Level 1 for the lead adult.
Members can use club boats to progress before buying their own boat. The club lists Toppers, Optimists, Comets, Lasers, GP14s and Laser 2000s, with some priority for members who completed a recent Start Sailing course.
